Fundraising 101

Step 1: Create Your Fundraiser

Start by choosing what kind of fundraiser you want to run: Celebrate your birthday, milestone, Faith Challenge or testimony Launch a church or school project, Host a virtual or in-person giving campaign and much more .

Step 2: Set Your Fundraising Goal

Pray, plan, and ask God to guide your goal. Whether it’s $100, $500, or $5,000—every dollar makes a difference in helping us feed families, host give-back events, worship events , build the LORDANDI Center and more.

Step 3: Share It With Your Network

Spread the word! Share your fundraiser through: Text & WhatsApp groups, Social media stories and posts, Church bulletin boards, Emails and community flyers People love to give when they know why. Tell them what LORDANDI is doing and why it matters to you.

Step 4: Thank Your Supporters

After someone gives to your fundraiser, take the time to thank them personally. A heartfelt message reminds them they are part of something bigger than themselves. It shows that their support is seen, valued, and making a difference.

Who can Start a Fundraiser for LORDANDI?

Anyone with a heart to serve and a desire to make a difference. Whether you’re an individual, a church group, a business, or a student, you can start a fundraiser to support LORDANDI’s mission. All you need is willingness to start and God does the rest.

What does my fundraiser support?

Your fundraiser directly supports LORDANDI’s outreach initiatives, including feeding programs for the homeless and needy, community give-back events, volunteer training, transportation, hygiene kit distribution, worship gatherings, and more. Every dollar raised fuels our mission to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Is there a minimum or maximum fundraising goal?

No! We encourage you to set a faith-filled yet realistic goal. Whether it’s $100, $500, or $5,000, every gift matters and helps advance the mission. Don’t underestimate the power of small steps that lead to big impact.

How will I know how my fundraiser is doing?

You’ll receive updates as your fundraiser progresses. We also have a Top Fundraiser Chart below so you can track your impact, cheer others on, and even build a little friendly Kingdom competition.

How do I share my fundraiser?

Once you set up your fundraiser, you’ll receive a personal share link. You can share it on:

WhatsApp & text messages
Social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Church newsletters or bulletins
Emails to friends, family, and coworkers

The more you share your heart, the more others will be moved to give.

Can I fundraise in honor of someone or for a specific occasion?

Absolutely. Many of our supporters start fundraisers in honor of a birthday, testimony, family member, or a personal transformation story. You can also fundraise as a way to give back during the holidays or as part of a faith challenge (like fasting or prayer journaling).

What if I don’t reach my goal?

That’s okay, every single dollar still goes toward the work God has called LORDANDI to do. Whether you reach your goal or not, your obedience and generosity are already making a difference.

What happens after my fundraiser ends?

Once your fundraiser closes, you’ll receive a final update with how much was raised and how it will be used. You’ll also be celebrated in our progress updates, and top fundraisers may be recognized in future events and community shout-outs!

Can I volunteer and fundraise?

Yes! In fact, we encourage it. Many of our volunteers also start fundraisers as a way to multiply their impact. You can serve on-site and still rally your community to support the cause from afar.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes! LORDANDI is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations made through your fundraiser are tax-deductible, and donors will receive a receipt for their records.
